Draft for attorney review. These documents are a starting point written in plain language. Have a lawyer review them before relying on them, especially the prize and contest sections, which vary by state.

  1. Sponsor. The game is sponsored by the bar or restaurant named on its game page ("Sponsor"), not by SportsPlay Games, which provides the software.
  2. No purchase necessary. A purchase or payment is never required to enter or win and does not improve your chances.
  3. Eligibility. Legal U.S. residents; 21 or older where the Sponsor requires it. Sponsor employees may play but may not win prizes. One account per person.
  4. How to play. Pick the games the Sponsor posts each week, against the spread or straight up as the game page says. Picks lock at each game's scheduled start and can be changed until then.
  5. Spreads and pushes. For spread games, the spread shown when a game starts is used. If the final margin equals the spread exactly, the pick is a push: not a win or a loss.
  6. Scoring and ties. Points per correct pick and any bonuses are shown in the Sponsor's rules. The week runs Tuesday 4 AM to the next Tuesday 4 AM, Sponsor's local time. Ties are broken by win percentage, then by a random drawing.
  7. Prizes. Described in the Sponsor's rules, with approximate value. Winners are notified by email and claim as the Sponsor's rules say, usually in person with a prize code and photo ID within the stated number of days. No cash equivalent or transfer unless the Sponsor allows it. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited. Winners pay any taxes.
  8. At the bar. If the Sponsor requires a check-in, players enter the code of the day or scan the bar's QR code as described in its rules.
  9. Disqualification and changes. The Sponsor may disqualify anyone who cheats, uses multiple accounts or abuses the game, and may change or cancel the game if something outside its control affects it.
  10. Data. Results come from third-party providers. Obvious errors are corrected, and standings update.
  11. Limits. Void where prohibited. By playing, you agree to these rules and the Player Terms.
